Don’t Put The Holiday Paper Away Just Yet…

…or throw away those scraps. I know the holidays are over but I’m sure you have some great pictures to highlight. This scrapbook page featured one large 5×7 picture and 3 smaller 2.5 x 2.5 pictures.

This 12×12 single page layout features the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Paper from the Holiday Mini, Chocolate Chip paper as the base, Real Red for matting and Whisper white for matting the larger picture and used for embosssed greeting, The other piece of this page I love is the snowflakes! These again were from the Holiday Mini and you may have some left – the white Snowflakes from the Icicles Rub-ons. Baroque Motifs‘ large swirl stamp was used as a textured background (embossed). I like how it goes with the holly designer pattern.

Instructions

Emboss the left side of the page with a few swirls from Baroque Motifs. I used Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and then Clear Embossing Powder. Then heated. Then started to add some snowflakes.
Next, I layed the 2×12 strip of holly patterned paper and the 3/4 inch strip of real red patterned paper from the Christmas Cocoa Specilaty pack.
Next, matted and laid the smaller picture squares on the right. Some on a diagonal, and the center one as a square. Placed with Stampin’ Dimensionals. You can swap a Whisper White piece for one of these squares for journaling if you’d prefer.
Then matted and laid the larger picture.
Matted and created the greeting, which again could instead be used for journaling. Used Stampin’ Dimensionals in the middle so it would not stick to any pictures on the left and right side.
Finished adding some more snowflakes.

Other Suggestions:

Add some brads for an accent on the greeting or around large picture.
Add some ribbon.

Sunshine Garden Simply Scrappin’ Kit

These are the scrapbook pages my Stamp Club members will make in June. The Simply Scrappin‘ kits are a great way to make scrapbook pages that coordinate with each other. I love to take these Simply Scrappin’ kits to crops because I can mix and match the cardstock, patterned paper, and embeliishments and complete a lot of pages.

Berry Sweet Scrapbooking

Here are the scrapbook pages I made after picking strawberries with my youngest daughter. We could fill up our buckets and eat as many strawberries as we wanted. It was several weeks before either of us wanted to eat strawberries again.

I made the strawberries punch art by using the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate (#y114512) and then the Full Heart Punch (#113693). The green top on the strawberry is the Boho Blossoms Punch (#110771). The Big Shot alphabet is Serif Essentials (#113464) and the green Swirly (#113456) is a decorative strip die.

Happy Scrappy Thursday ~ At the Lake

Cute Clipboard Simply Scrappin’ Style

This clipboard was made using the Rock-a-bye Girl Simply Scrappin’ kit and a clipboard. By using the Simply Scrappin’ kit you can quickly make this project. The clipboard is nice because you can easily change out your picture. My upline Amy gave me this gift for hosting our last group meeting. Thanks Amy!

“I Wish” Simply Scrappin’ Kit

Below are some of the projects from my "I Wish" Christmas Stamp Camp. I included a close-up of the bow on the gift bag to show off the Build-A-Brad. I love that detail! The Simply Scrappin’ kits are great for card-making as well as scrapbooking. The adhesive die-cuts makes it very easy to put together these projects.

U R Sweet Simply Scrappin’ Kit

The Simply Scrappin’ Kits make it very easy to scrapbook your favorite subjects. I used the "U R Sweet" kit to scrapbook this picture of my daughter. The kits contain 6 sheets of patterned paper (2 double-sided designs – 3 sheets each), 8 sheets of solid textured cardstock (4 colors – 2 sheets each), and 6 sheets of adhesive die-cuts (3 designs – 2 sheets each). This kits are such a great timesaver. Isn’t she sweet?
