Welcome New Team Members!

Saturday, November 8th, 2008

I’d like to welcome my newest team members who joined Stampin’ Up! in October.  Jeri L. and Julie V. joined as 1st level team members and Jamie G. joined my 3rd level.  Welcome to my Scrappers, Ink! Team.

Did you know that the #1 reason people join SU! is for the personal discount?  If you would like more information on joining SU! please email me or click here.

Below are cards that I mailed to my Team members this month for top sales, promotions, SU! anniversaries, or just to say "Hi!".  They are all made with the Frosty Days Designer Series Paper.  As a demonstrator, I can buy certain products in bulk like the Frosty Days paper.  If only we would have some frosty days in Louisiana!

Haiku Designer Series Paper Cards

Friday, November 7th, 2008

I recently joined a Leadership Training Class for my SU! business.  One of my assignments this week was to make 3 cards using Designer Series Paper.  My pack of Haiku paper was unopened, so I decided that I should use it for my challenge.  I hope you like the samples!

Bella Rose Box

My big sister has a big birthday tomorrow, so I needed a special box for her present.  I used the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper to quickly make this gift box.  My daughter Katelyn said "totally cool", so I think I have a winner.

Stamps:  Short Order Alphabet

Paper:  Bella Rose Designer Series Paper; Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, and Kiwi Kiss cardstock

Ink:  Riding Hood Red

Cool Tools:  1-1/4" and 1-3/8" circle punches, round scallop punch

Bling:  white gel pen, 5/8" old olive ribbon

To assemble the box: Score 12"x12" cardstock at 4" and 8" in both directions, creating a tic-tac-toe grid with a 4" square center.  From the top and bottom of the cardstock, cut score lines to first cross score line to create flaps.  Fold flaps inside and adhere withTombow Multi Purpose adhesive.

.

To assemble the lid:  Score 7-1/8" square cardstock at 1-1/2" from both directions, creating a tic-tac-toe grid with a 4-1/8" center.  From the top and bottom of the cardstock, cut score lines to first cross score line to create flaps.  Fold flaps and adhere with Tombow adhesive.

                                         Only Ovals Card

The Only Ovals stamp set is one of my favorites because it has a coordinating oval punch.  The punch makes this card quick to make and the two earth tones are perfect for the fall.  The finished size is a 4" x 4" notecard that still fits in a standard envelope. (more…)
