Scallop Circle Dress Card Step-by-Step
Filed Under Big Shot, Cards | Leave a Comment
Here are the step-by-step directions to make a pattern for the Scallop Circle Dress Card that I showcased yesterday.
1. Cut a Scallop Circle and an Oval Scallop Frame using the Big Shot. You will only keep the inside of the Oval Scallop Frame.

2. Leaving 4 of the scallops unmarked as the top of the dress, mark 9 of the scallops in each direction as your cutting guide.

3. Using the Oval as your guide, draw your cutting marks making sure you include all of the marked scallops.

4. Cut out your Scallop Circle Dress template.
NOTE: This template is a "skinnier" version of yesterday’s card where I only marked 8 scallops on each side. Also, when you use this pattern on your cardstock, be sure and trace the pattern on the "wrong" side of your cardstock if it is patterned so your lines don’t show.
Do you need to order the Scallop Circle Bigz Die (Item# 113468) or Oval Scallop Frame Bigz Die (Item# 114521) for the Big Shot? If so, you can order online or email me with your order. When ordering online, enter the item # in the search box for quick shopping after you have logged on as a customer.

I made this card for Ginger, a downline team member, who recently won a downline team contest. The "Hooray Designer Hardware" fit the bill for this Congratulations Card to go along with her Snowflake #2 Die. I used the Bigz Clear Flower die for the Big Shot and the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Series Paper.
Please contact me if you have questions about this project or if you would like to order your own Hooray Designer Hardware.

Cute Candy Containers
Filed Under 3-D Items, Big Shot | Leave a Comment
My 10 year-old daughter decorated these cute candy containers for her friends. Each container was personalized using the Serif Essentials Alphabet for the Big Shot and her choice of colors and punches. The large scallop is also a Bigz Die for the Big Shot. She wanted all of the containers to have a similar theme, so she used the In Colors with the matching ribbon. Didn’t she do a great job?
Speaking of candy, don’t forget my blog candy giveaway for April. If you have any questions on this project, please contact me.
