Autumn Spice DSP

The Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper (DSP) makes it very easy and quick to design cards and scrapbook pages with a Fall theme. The Autumn Spice DSP pack includes 12 sheets of 12×12 card stock (2 each of 6 double-sided designs as shown below).

This card stock is textured and heavy-weight and with the bold Fall designs and rich Earthy colors is perfect for all of your Fall projects. This paper pack coordinates with Cajun Craze, Old Olive, More Mustard, and Early Espresso.

The punched image was made using the Day of Gratitude stamp set (CM 121148, WM 120835) and the new Extra-Large Decorative Label Punch (120907) found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I stamped the "Gratitude" sentiment in Early Espresso ink (119670) on More Mustard card stock (100946) and punched out the image. Then, I punched out a second label using Old Olive card stock (100702). I cut the Old Olive label punch in half and layered the More Mustard label punch on top. It's an easy WOW! using this punch.

MDS Monday ~ Timeless Stamp Brush Set

Timeless Digital Card MDS Stamping Sharon

Here is a digital card I made using the new Timeless Stamp Brush Set. This brush set is perfect for vintage cards, masculine cards, or heritage scrapbooking. You can see all of the stamps in the set in yesterday's post.

Here are a few tips when using My Digital Studio or your own digital scrapbooking program:

1. When using Designer Series Paper, you can either add it as a page layer or add it into a photo box. If you are going to stretch the image like I did with the Night of Navy stripes, you can just add the stripes as a page layer and adjust the size to your liking. If you want to keep the Designer Series Paper images true-to-size, then you first want to add a photo box and then insert the Designer Series Paper into the photo box. Here is what I mean:

Did you notice the difference in the stripes?

2. I "stamped" the car from the Timeless Stamp Brush Set twice: once in Night of Navy and once in Soft Suede to achieve this vintage look of the car in motion. Stamp the image in one color and then re-size it. Then copy and paste the image changing the color and aligning it just next to the original image.

3. I used the "drop shadow" effect on the Pumpkin Pie knot and the Night of Navy Scallop Oval Punch. I like to use 60% to really enhance the shadow effect.

4. The sentiment "Celebrate You" is from A Little Birthday Cheer Stamp Brush Set and is "stamped" onto the oval cardstock. The oval cardstock color was "color matched" to the vertical stripe in the Travel Journal Digital Kit. Color matching makes it very easy to select your colors.
